Snow Day Snow Day Snow Day

We haven't had a really big snow in while - this one was supposed to be at least a foot but wound up being more like 5 or 7 inches with a lot of wind and some ice - overall just really bad driving conditions and of course a snow day...which just happened to fall on a Monday :)

Kareem and I decided to bundle up and venture out on a snow mission...


Here are some pics of our neighborhood covered in snow...






we walked up to Liberties Walk and bought Mabel some treats (you won't see any pics of her b/c she was adamant about staying in and staying warm - primadonna!)

we went to our new favorite neighborhood spot - El Camino Real and had some lunch - Kareem is giving me a mini-blue-steel look... lol

...saw a Red Robin who was trying really hard to stay warm...


oh and here is a really pretty mural a few blocks from our place (did you know Philly has more murals than any other major city?) **disclaimer - i think Philly has the most but might be wrong LOL**


it was SOOOO nice to get back home and get all warm and snuggly with Mabel - we all watched a bunch of episodes of Law & Order SVU. sounds like a perfect snow day to me!
