Happy Chrisma-Hanukkah + Happy New Year!

We were so bad this holiday season and barely took any pictures - we brought our camera to the Schwartz Hanukkah party, and to Wikerd Christmas, and to Schaffer Dessert but completely spaced out and didn't take photos at any of them - DUH! Thankfully there were some picture takers at Christmas but I don't think anyone took photos at Hanukkah or the Schaffer's. I promise we will be better next year!

Another big thing this holiday week was the Eagles-Cowboy's game on 12.28.08. The Eagles DEMOLISHED the Cowboys and secured a spot in the Playoffs next week. Kareem is one of the biggest Eagles fans around so this is a really huge deal for him. He went to that game and we all went down and tailgated with Traci & Scott. We brought our camera but again only took like 1 picture - thankfully Scott took a bunch and emailed them to us!

We played tourists yesterday and went to lunch at City Tavern - it is just blocks from where we live and such a historic place we are kind of embarrassed that we were never there LOL! The Mead bar is really cool and you can really imagine George Washington hanging out there - very cool! The food is really yummy but super heavy - Alyssa had the Old Fashioned Turkey Pot Pie (read: heart attack on a plate) and Kareem had the Beef Sausage with Mashed Potatoes, Sauerkraut and homemade Mustard. *notice Kareem still wearing his Eagles jersey from Sunday*

New Years Eve is going to be fun - a nice chill dinner with Shayma & Farrukh and a New Year's Day brunch with JenW and Michael :) (will take some pics!)

This has been a really great year for us and we are really looking forward to all the wonderful things 2009 is going to bring.
